What does the circle around the clock mean

Welcome to the forums. What phone do have? What clock and what circle? Can you post a screenshot?

It is the amount of charge left on the battery. When the circle first appears, a % number shows up but it disappears pretty soon. A full circle is 100%, and a proportional arc shows the current % charge.
