Please help.
Each call I make or recieve I have to press the round symbol of a telephone receiver once connected so that I can hear the person on the other end of the line and so they can hear me! They think I'm a silent caller...very annoying. Its like an automatic mute button. How can I get rid of it?
I have a screen shot...not sure if I can upload it here?

When you hit reply, look at the little pic of a tree in the box (its tiny) tap it & upload your image

Uploading is super easy via the AC app.

Here you go...
How do I stop this symbol coming up every time a call is made or received? It mutes the conversation without me wanting it to :(

I personally can't say I've ever seen that little symbol during a call, but I maybe if you go into settings in your dialer look around and see if anythings checked that maybe shouldn't be.

Are you rooted or do you have a third party app that gives you some kind of enhancements such as extra volume as shown in your pic?? If so, that could be your problem.

that one seems like the extra volume to make the call louder through speaker.if you switch on speaker mode and press that your call volume would be louder.

I have no apps to enhance volume or anything similar. If it enhances volume I wonder why it completely mutes the phone too. Very odd! Im sure ive pressed something and not realised but Id love to know how to get rid of it haha!

Which S5 do you have? That might give a clue - who's your carrier?
I'm with Sprint so my model # is the G900P & there is no option to boost volume other than putting it on speaker.
you can look in settings - about device to tell which model you have or you can check out our ironass's guide for more info.

Ahhhh now that makes sense, you have the international version :)
I'm not familiar with the build you're running as its most likely well past the now obsolete Sprint 5.0 build.
My best guess is that you my possibly find a way an option to disable the volume boost in settings - sounds & notifications.
I'll dig around a bit & see if I can find you something helpful.

dont think you can disable that but you can turn on black screen while making calls to avoid pressing that

You can solve this problem by going to settings - call - personalize call sound and chose the sound that makes it work....

Hope that helps
