What happened to Dead Island on Android?

Anyone has any ideas what happened to Dead Island in Google Play? I think the developer was Gameloft. Was wanting to put it on my LG. I'll be emailing the developer. It seems all the good games go from Android but are fine on IOS.

I can't find that game when I search Google for "Dead Island Gameloft." There's a Dead Island from a developer called Techland -- is that what you're talking about?

Keep in mind that games don't remain available forever in the Play Store. If the developer stops supporting the game, they might pull it. For example, you can't install any of the Asphalt games earlier than Asphalt 8 any more.

The only Dead Island games I'm aware of were made by Techland and the servers for Dead Island Survivors were shut down July 2020.

Games leave the Play Store over time for various reasons, some never get updated to work on newer versions of Android. Why this one got shut down I don't know. My source of information for the server shut down came from Wikipedia.
