What happened to Moto Active?

I just want slight notification on certain apps. I know I set it up before. I've googled and they say moto active display from setting - moto, don't have that anymore.

Also, why do I always have to enter pin number when I goto settings when I don't have a password setup??? this is super annoying.

On my phone now, but

Screen lock none
No encryption
No sim card lock
Advanced protection is on under device admin due to applock app. Maybe that's why.

Perhaps that is it. I don't use Applock.
