What happened to my internal storage[Solved]

I recently bought a 400gb as card and moved my photos from the internal storage to the card. There was about 58 gb of photos. Before the move it said I used 114gb of internal storage total after the move it remained the same. When I look at the storage everything seems to be the same. However I pulled the sd card and the photos are clearly only there. Any idea what may have happened and why I don't have more storage?

You can check the trash folder and see if they are there.

Is that the Device Care app? If not, run that and see what it shows (and if the Storage Optimization option does anything).

Also check the app cache for any messaging or social media app, since some of these apps can build up an enormous cache.

It is device care and it's been optimized a few times app cache was cleared too. It's very odd and confusing

Hi, did you copy or moved the photos to your sd card?

How did you move the photo files to the SD card -- using the My Files app, or some other way (like Windows File Explorer)?

Ok it shows it found all my pictures I moved. So why are they still there?

Sorry I ran that ran wrong. It's showing 60 gb of system data.

So what ever is happening is a duplicate of date it's the images and videos being the same size on both internal and external storage. Not sure where it's coming from though

I don't think that would come into play, since the free internal storage didn't change at all after moving the photos from internal storage to SD. The DiskUsage screenshot suggests that all of the internal storage those moved photos were taking up is stuck somehow in some sort of system cache.
