What has happened to Google Speech to Text for dictating a text message??

I use Textra as my default texting app all so can't say how it works with others, but using the Speech to Text feature to dictate a text seems to have gotten a LOT worse at timing out when I'm in the middle of dictating a message. Sometimes I get one word in and boom, it times out. Anyone else?

No problem here with Textra. It's an app that has performed perfectly for me for many years with 3 different Smartphones.
I use Smartkey for text and I wish the Microphone key was more prominent, but that's not Textra's problem.
