What I miss

I hope this is the right place to express this. I didn't see a section appropriately labeled. As much as I love the Pixel 2 XL and how the Samsung 8 felt in hand, I miss the feeling of the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 5. Both of those phones look absolutely amazing to me and felt great in the hand. I got to hold a pixel 1 once and it felt pretty good in the hand, but something was missing.

This might be case of rose colored glasses, but I would love to have a modern version of them, but with a 5.5"+ screen.

What do you all think?

Nexus 4, my guess is that's the rose colored glasses one. Nexus 5 I absolutely agree, loved that phone. As for a 5.5" version, the body size of the Nexus 5 could only hold a 5.43" display (pictured below), however I think that a couple of modifications could allow for 5.5", such as by reducing the curve of the chassis. Display dimensions would be 4.86" x 2.43" - which is only .06" x .03" smaller than what a 5.5" 2:1 display would be.



I'd probably be a buyer.

The Nexus 5 was a good device to hold. Not sure if I would want a 5.5" screen, but maybe a 5.2.

I too really miss my Nexus 5; and it's one of the main reasons why I'm ordering a Pixel 2. I'd love to see a 5.5" form factor! Five inches is pretty good but six inches is too big for me!

I never got to hold a pixel 1 until yesterday and I must say, I love the feel of that phone. It was the right size and reminded me of a mix of the 4 and 5. I blew past it and went to the Pixel 2 XL, which is a damn fine phone, but I didn't want the Pixel 2 chin/forehead

Congratulations on your Pixel 2 XL! What colour did you get?

I got the 128GB Panda. So far I love it. If they make a pixel 3 that doesn't have obscene bezels and can get up to 5.5" I will get it.
