I have noticed a lot of the features in gingerbread are for Stock Android. You will have better ways for managing applications though, and of course speed.

Awesome. Thanks for the link. I've been running CM7 RC2 for a few days now. Gingerbread's UI definitely feels more polished.

Appears that the Droid Incredible and EVO might be getting Gingerbread as well.

Add the Xperia X10, Droid X and Droid 2 in the list too.

I know that the Droid Incredible is scheduled to receive it's Gingerbread update sometime this summer. I am sure that the Thunderbolt gets it in the same window, probably earlier.
