What is Edify fonts?

I was looking into flashing a smoother font and I just want to know what is a Edify font and should I install that or the original version of the font?

Edify is a new scripting language by Google that is, i believe designed for Gingerbread. Unless you have a Gingerbread ROM, I don't think it will work for you.

I clicked on your link to the fonts and there is an update that says:

02/16 Minor update - if you see EDIFY next to the font listing, then that font has been updated to work with newer Clockwork.

That's Clockwork 3.0. Here is a write up that should help you understand Edify:
