What is happening to the S Pen after the Note9?

Now that they've updated the s pen for the note 9, where does it go from here? With rumors of the note series ending will the upgraded s pen die as well? I'm excited for the new features of the a pen but I'm waiting for the S10. What are the chances it shows up with the s10?

There are zero credible rumors of the Note line ending, so no way to associate that with rumors about the S-Pen. The S-Pen will almost defnitely not come with the S10.

The S Pen isn't going anywhere, maybe the Note goes away but I highly doubt that.

Right now they have it in their flagship phone, Android tablet, windows tablet, chrome book, and windows laptops.

Why do people think that Samsung would stop making the note series? Samsung has never said anything to that effect and it's becoming more popular each year.

It drives me nuts as well. I think someone mentioned a few months back that if the Note9 doesn't sell well, it could be the end of the Note series. Probably some stupid BGR or Forbes article with no credible information in it whatsoever.

Personally, I'd like to see them utilize the top clicker as a button. Perhaps, add a couple of buttons near the top of the S-pen as well towards the clicker for added functionality, kind of like how buttons were added to the mouse.
