What is it with Android and dessert names?

A company I worked for did this with software revisions, but with Belgian beer names.

Some off the top of my head I remember:

Corsendonk
Duvel
Faro
Grimbergen
Hapkin

Don't remember what E was, A and B were before I joined the team, and I left as H was coming out...

One job I had all the servers were broken up into Disney Characters for one division, Shakespeare Characters for another, Car names for another.

Made the sentence “Yeah I was up late backing up Doc to Grumpy so Othello could reload the NOVA.” A bizarre reality!
