What is the best kernel for battery usage on the thunderbolt? I am currently running the BAMF gingerbread remix and my battery is worst than before. I am just trying anything to get a little bit more ttime out of this battery. Thanks for the help.

try out leanKernel, really impressive.

[GB Kernel] leanKernel: minimalistic kernel (2.8.2GB 6/5/11, v2.7.2cm7 5/28/11) - xda-developers

here is some of the settings it has:

Code:
leanKernel kernel speed tweaker
------------------------------_
1) normal: undervolted, overclocked to 1.41Ghz
2) extreme: extremely undervolted, overclocked to 1.41Ghz
3) 1.92: undervolted, overclocked to 1.92Ghz
4) 1.92X: extremely undervolted, overclocked to 1.92Ghz
5) battsaver: extremely undervolted, not overclocked

Yeah, I am running DAS BAMF GB REMIX and I just flashed 2.8.2 GBtest4 yesterday, and I love it, lets you pick how you volt, and the govn. So far so good. I speciffical picked 1 Normal with the interactiveX Governor.

I was big on custom kernels for my Fascinate, but I've waited until now to really dig in to them with the Thunderbolt. It looks like this kernel is for GB only. Can you recommend a kernel that is compatible with the stock ROM?

Edit: Nevermind. I found a version of the Kernel that he made for Froyo.
