What is the best Preferred Network type users on Verizon should use.

I got off Global and use LTE/CDMA on my S8+ with Verizon. May be different on the Essential

I do not see LTE/CDMA they have LTE or LTE/WCDMA and Global

Don't know the difference between CDMA and WCDMA. There was quite a bit of discussion when the S8 came on the setting, but I've always changed to that setting if it was available. I don't need global so that's the best choice for me. I didn't think the Essential had been certified on Verizon yet.

Curious about this also. 20+ choices!? I left it top default choice, which is fine so far. I get a signal in the Subway inside our plant, which is the gold standard of good signal here! Lol

CDMA + LTE/EvDo --- I can call out, but can't receive calls back in. The phone never rings, but the caller is sent to my VM after three rings. I've turned off Call Fwdg (even though i never set it).
