What is the best VPN app for Kodi on Android based devices?

Hi!

I’m travelling to Asia, and I wanted to watch ITV Player on Kodi. But the problem is that it’s blocked in China. So, I have to use a VPN. Can anyone recommend me a good VPN?

You have to be very careful in China, Use of VPN is not legal in China. ISP can take strict action against you anytime.

hey frank. i hope you're aware of the situation in china. recently. apple took down vpn apps and i'm not sure if android might end up with same fate. there's a way around it though as you can always manually configure your vpn through router regardless of whatever you get, but it's going to be a bit technical. just make sure you have credentials.

about kodi, i did stumble upon some post over this forum a few hours ago that had alternatives for kodi, you can see if they're working in china, that'll make things easier for you. if not, you'll have to resort to a vpn. as for a vpn for kodi, you can go with anything that doesn't compromise too much on load time and offer a smooth streaming experience. most are either free, offer trial or at least a guarantee so you have plenty of opportunities to evaluate the thing. if the laws are rather strict against kodi over china, you'll have to get something with encryption too. i've listed some of the stuff i know, but you can always google things up to know more.
