I have accumulated a lot of pictures and would like to back them up on my PC

You can use Google Photos to back up your whole collection to the cloud and make it accessible to all devices (including your PC). Or you can connect with a usb cord and just cut/copy and paste to a folder on your PC.

I use QQ International, a multilingual Chinese IM. It has a feature called 'send to my PC', which sends files to a folder on your PC. You need to install QQ on your PC as well.

I've used QQ for a long time, and have had no problems, as in bloat or malware.

I use Google Drive plus FolderSync to keep all my files in sync and have access to them from wherever I log into my Google account. So not only do I have my pics/videos but I also have any documents/files in sync. Also, it keeps my folder structure.
