What is the best way to remove old photos and such from a device permanently

Files and photos remove for good .

In Google Photos, tap a backed-up photo and select Delete From Device. If not backed-up, simply delete. Remove from Bin afterwards if wished.

Welcome to Android Central! It's pretty difficult for someone to recover deleted files or photos from internal storage. Is that what you're concerned about? Or are you constantly seeing photos or other files show up even after you thought you deleted them?
