What is the correct network setting for Nexus 4 running on T-mobile?

I've purchased an N4 and I am currently testing it out on T-mobile's network, and so far not so good. At the house we have had some trouble with the network completely dropping out and disconnecting use from the call. Ive gone in and looked at the radio settings using *#*#4635#*#* and by default the phone was set up to "WCDMA preferred" which doesn't seem like the right setting for T-mobile. I've gone in and changed to "GSM Only (PRL)", but haven't had a chance to really test this setting on a real phone call.

Has anyone else gone in an changed settings on T-mobile, and if so has it helped?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, I really don't want to have to sell the N4.

It could be that tmobile is weak in your area.
I didn't mess with my settings at all, and I'm getting great speeds.

Put the Sim card in, changed nothing, it worked perfectly. Remember that T-Mobile has weird coverage, you might just be in a bad spot.

I didn't change any settings, and I actually get faster speeds with less bars than on my One S previously. Is the SIM you're using a previously used T-Mobile SIM or are you coming from another network?
