Here are some improvements

Pixel density is almost 2 times more (from 149 to 299)
It is 65 grams lighter, 1mm thinner, and 20mm shorter
The LTE model can take 1080p@60fps videos, while the old note can take 720p@30fps
There are also some improvements over CPU, GPU and software features
