Android Central Question

Hi, I’ve been using a (Samsung) wireless charger for about six months and it’s just occurred to me that the wallet case of my phone (S7) has a magnet hidden in its back (stupid me). Samsung instructions say that you should never put a magnet between phones and wireless chargers, which is basically what I’ve been doing these last six months.
I’ve searched this forum for answers and only found questions about magnetic mounts. If I understand correctly, magnetic mounts need a metal plate on the back of your phone, it's not an actual magnet, but it prevents the phone from wireless charging. My phone has been charging all this time, quite slowly I must admit but I thought that was just because wireless charging is slow...
Now I’ve removed the wallet case and magnet, but I wonder what the extent of the damage for my phone or charger might be. Should I stop using wireless charging at all? Thanks.

I wouldn't stress, it's worked all this time... The magnet would have disturbed the magnetic field and reduced the power transferred. These devices are very well protected as the designer has no way of knowing what the end user will do with it. Just take off the case and carry on as usual :-)
