What is the latest on the Nexus X device?

Anybody heard anything new? Will Google release a mid range Nexus X in July followed by a more high end Nexus 5 later in the year?

Personally I think the rumored $199/$249 outright unlocked price of a mid-range Nexus device will be a game changer and kick off a race to the bottom in cell phone handset prices, much like what is happening with tablets currently. Can't wait to see what is in store...

There is no such rumor about a "Nexus X" afaik.

I assume you're talking about the X Phone. That is not rumored to be a Nexus phone, simply a high-end, customizable Motorola phone running near-stock Android. So to answer your question, no, Google will not release a mid-range "Nexus X".

Also, adding "X" doesn't really give a phone a mid-range feel
