I am a Sprint customer. I have no major complaints with Sprint. I like the prices on their plans.

About a month ago, my wife upgraded her Moto Krzr to the HTC Hero for Sprint. Boy, what a different world she entered. I love that phone. Is it wrong to lust ... after my wife's smartphone?

I have the Palm Pre. I like the Pre a lot. I could love it; but it still needs some maturing. It is like the G1 a year ago or so. As a backup, I have a Palm Treo 755p. It is was an awesome smartphone for its time. But it is time for a change.

So, before I run out and get a Hero, I want to wait on the HTC SuperPhone that is coming to Sprint. Does anyone know what it will be and when it coming? I read a rumor about a phone called "SuperSonic."

This is a question I am very much wondering myself. I can switch to Sprint on March 27th, cuz thats when my Verizon contract runs out. And Sprints Everything Data Family plan will just be a lot cheaper for me. So I'm wondering if I want to switch right away on that date, or if something is coming down the road within a month or two from there to wait for.

If the nexus comes to sprint and hero gets an upgrade to 2.1--
which would be a better phone??
The Nexus One, definitely. The Hero is slow and has a smaller screen, and the Nexus One already has 2.1. But I'm not sure it'll make it to Sprint.

Sprint needs something, though. They'll get a killer phone sometime this year, it's just a question of what and when.

i had sprint for 10+ years...as much as I liked it...their phone selection always sucked. I finally left and got the N1. I like so much more than the palm pre. I had the pre rooted and did a lot to it, but the hardware was just not where it need to be. I hope that they can start bringing more quality phones out for you. They cant afford to continue losing customers at the rate that they have been.

Supersonic. Specs are known for the most part, but release date is not. Hero 2 or legend as its also know is coming too, specs are similar to hero, its basically the upgrade. Nexus has never been confirmed, just rumors.... But I am afraid 4+ inch screen might be too big :-(
