This comes up every great once in a while. Today a colored strip (same color as heartbeat) spread across the bottom of the screen and then disappeared. Clicking on the icon does nothing (that I'm aware of). Anyone know which app it's associated with? It animated with a pulsing motion...like a heartbeat.
Thanks

Is it a floating icon? Meaning you can move it around? Also does it just come up on the forum? Or any app?

That's definitely from S-Health. Have you set any reminders to measure your heart rate? Or measure mood level? Are you placing your finger near the heart rate sensor by any chance (below the camera flash)?

You know, I wondered about S Health. I use it nearly every day and have since my S5 but I don't have any kind of notifications or timers set and I've always gone into the application to use it. But I just put my finger on the sensor while in the Android forum and the heartbeat icon came back and measured my heart rate... 57 by the way. So apparently the icon was showing up when I had my finger on or close to the sensor. This must be a new feature with the last upgrade or two. Thanks, you guys are the best (:

There has to be a setting to disable that, tough, in case you want to avoid it (it is a battery drain if you keep your finger there too often)

@mhinc

That is Quick Measure(Heart rate measurement) feature of SHealth. If Quick Measure feature is on (Heart rate)and ur finger is on sensor it will start measuring your heart beat. The detail of this feature you can find at S health->Heart rate->More->Quick Measure

Thank You

@mhinc,

That icon comes due to Quick Measure feature from Shealth. If ur finger is on sensor it will calculate ur heart rate.
Details of this feature you can find at S health ->Heart rate->More->Quick Measure(On which screen it works ).
Thanks

Thanks to Brinda, I found the on/off option for this feature. I think I'll turn it off. It's finicky.
