What is this symbol on my notification bar?

The symbol with the half-circle around a plus sign showed up on my S8 phone recently. I've explored the settings of any new apps and others as well but can't find anything about this symbol. Anyone familiar with it or have any guesses?

Welcome to the forums. That's the data saver notification. You can enable/disable it in settings - data usage - overflow menu/three dots top right.
