I rooted unlocked phone and put on android revolution since it was the first one out. then i tried to flash open kang, but it failed. i had made a backup so i decided restore, but when restoring data it failed. rebooted phone seemed to work ok on android revolution but soon reboot cycles began.

had to adb push and flash gummynex. it was working fine until reboot cycles started again.

just tried to do the automated stock . but did not work.

i only have a small understanding of adb and stuff.

i downloaded the stock image from google. but dont really know waht to do with it. i put the zip on the phone and tried to flash cwm. but didnt work.

i just want to get back to stock and fi the reboot cycle problem

Oh and now my phone boots up and everything. but its still gummynex and theres no google things on it.

home button doesnt work

doesnt have any google stuff so no market to download things.

cant even sign in to google account because there is no option to. its the weirdest thing.

Did you forget to flash gapps?

did you wipe data/cache/dalvik and system?
did you make sure the downloads were correct by verifying the MD5 sums?

if you did both of those above, i am not really sure what happened.

as for not having google stuff, that is because when you pushed gummy to the phone you did not install GAPPS along with it. find the GAPPS file in the gummynex thread, place the file on your phone, and install through Clockwork recovery. i would probably do a cache wipe while you are in there.
