AC Question

Battery wasn't charging while the phone was on.
Turned phone off, still not charging.
Tried a different outlet and suddenly a strange screen came up on my phone, I tried to post a link to a photo but AC would't let me.

SO here's what it shows...

Factory Mode
Product Name: SM-G900W8
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System status: Official
Reactivation Lock: Off
Knox Warrenty Void:0x0
Qualcomm Secureboot: Enable (CSB)
RP SWREV: S1, T1, R1, A1, P1
Secure Download: Enable
UDC Start

Downloading...
Do not turn off target!!

Tried pressing buttons and nothing happens.

It sounds like you booted into Download Mode, which is usually achieved by pressing Power, Home, and Volume Down. Did you happen to do that?

Try pulling the battery for 10 seconds, then reinserting and powering on normally. As long as you're not connected to anything and not actively transferring a file from the computer to the phone, you don't have to worry about the "Do Not Turn Off" warning.

This just happened to me with my note 5...how do I fix this?.

You should be able to force a shutdown by pressing and holding Power and Vol Down for about 10-15 seconds. Then power on normally.
