What is your battery SOT with A9?

I am very tempted to get the A9 but the androidauthority review frightened me with its mere 3 hours SOT, so I what are your reports?

Battery life on the a9 has exceeded my, admittedly low, expectations. It's not a marathoner but it gets me through a work day. The advantage of the a9 is, with QC and such a small battery, it charges extremely quick.

Personally I place zero stock in SOT but I'll play along. I get an average of about 2.5 hours SOT with the a9 with my best day hitting 5 hours. That is with the brightness slider at or above midway and adaptive brightness on. Everything else, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, background syncing, etc. are left on at all times.

So it's not worst than let's say S6 or G4?
With my ex-G4 I could get about 3 to 4 hours max SOT, once battery was under 50% it was falling like a stone, also idle battery was bad with G4, at best I was losing 7% but could loose up to 18% while sleeping without WIFI, all the HTC phones I had (...M7,M8,M9) were pretty good with only losing max 3% in idle over 7 hours.
I guess the A9 is the same.

I don't know about the S6 or G4 but it's pretty well in line with my Moto Xes. If your phone spends any time sitting idle, like overnight, Doze helps a lot.
