What keeps waking my phone up!

The screen doesn't illuminate, but every morning when I go into battery status, the phone has been showing "awake" 20+ minutes prior to me touching the phone.

What is causing this? I think it's killing my battery life...

Are you running any apps that would wake up the screen for notifications... example..email/sms pop ups. The SMS app I use wakes up the screen with a pop up for new messages. Maybe your notifications are waking up your screen while you're sleeping.

I don't see anything right off the bat.. was the phone doing this before you rooted?Any changes you made around the time you noticed this happening?..settings..widgets/apps installed..anything using gps.
How many days has this been going on for and have you tried rebooting the phone?

It could be the weather updates or an email coming in if it's connected to an exchange server?
