What OnePlus 5 model are you getting? (64 / 128 GB)

Yeah, I think the data plan should be a consideration on non-expandable phones.
My current plan is due to budget a minimal data plan, 500mb per month most likely.
Perhaps I am the minority who doesn't really feel the need to be using a lot when out, instead planning most of my usage at home on Wifi.

Whats the point in having a flagship phone and having to live this way? This reminds me of how data usage was back in 2005.

Budget.
Get the best I can afford with a phone, and when 2 years are up maybe once the handset is paid off I will have the option of increasing the data cap.
Plus I am not you or anyone else when it comes to usage.

Not a heavy social media user outside of competition entries, I am not going to be taking and uploading selfies, I just want a phone that when I need it performs well.
And that will due to my intended usage be not a lot in terms of data when away from home.

Those may not be the "highlighted" tariffs on the websites, but they are there for a reason.
That they do sell.

Must be tough. Considering you can find unlimited plan for as little as 35$ a month and even less if you don't need unlimited. But you can afford a 500$ phone up front, so who am I to judge. I hope life gets better for you.

I cant afford it upfront, that's the problem.
£36 a month for that plan, including the phone.
2 year duration.

After the 2 years the handset is paid off, and the cost drops to about half as its then only the data.
