What phone should i upgrade to after the Nexus 4?

Hi,

I bought the nexus 4 when it first came out. I really want to upgrade my phone now as its getting too laggy and battery life sucks.
What phone should i upgrade to? Is the nexus 6 worth investing in with the hefty price tag? I dont want to get a samsung so i was thinking whether the HTC phones or LG phones here in Europe are good alternatives?

If you want a clean OS then you almost need to stay with the Nexus branded phone. I my self will be passing up the Nexus 6. Looking forward to what the next Nexus will bring. Rumors has it as maybe being a LG 4G GPE phone. That maybe worth looking into, I have the N5 right now and it is a LG phone. I love it with the exception of battery life. I have learned to live with it though, wireless charging helps. The LG G4 is rumored to have a 3000mAh removable battery, and that would help. The new LG is to make it's debut the 28th of this month. So I will wait awhile and see, until then my N5 will do me well.
