What settongs control when the screen goes dark in the phone?

When using the phone, occasionally I need the phone pad to enter a choice or extension. However, the phone pad screen goes dark so quickly I don't have the time to make my choice. I am not in power save mode.

Hi, which phone do you have? Do you mean the timeout in the lock screen to enter your password, or the inactivity time before your phone goes to sleep?
