My phone has had problems enough for me to litterly want to chuck my phone at the or out the window. Someone suggested something I would save as a last resort, a factory reset. Many people have suggested many thing on how to save as much as possible. What I am asking is what should I save and what do I sacrifice?

Create a nandroid backup first using CWM recovery:):)

^^That only works if he's rooted.

OP, factory reset will erase everything on the internal memory cards, but your external will be fine. So, drag a copy of everything on your internal memories to a computer for safe keeping...do the factory reset, then drag it all back. You'll still have to re-set up your phone, as in, all you're icons, shortcuts, settings will all be erased. Hope that helps.
