What should the background/system CPU usage be in an S8+

Hi,
I noticed a sudden increase in battery drain with no new apps installed in my s8. So, I methodically put everything to sleep and disabled everything that's not a system app and did a force stop on Facebook, which is a system app on this device. The CPU-Z app shows 14-19% usage in "Mid" battery saving mode. Is this high? Normal?

Could be a fluke. I would try a reboot and fully charge. See if it repeats.

I think one of my apps updated and started using more battery, but I just can't figure out which one, and I think it's one of the pre-installed apps that I cannot force to go to sleep.

Goes from 5% to 13% up and down.
All cores clock down though.
No saving modes and no battery issues.
