I never had a skin on a phone before. I am looking at either a skinomi or XO skin. I would like to not have to use a case on this phone, I am fairly careful with my phones. I just want something that will help prevent scratches.

Which skin offers the best combination of protection and look?

thanks for the help.

I'm using a Skinomi full body protector. It covers the entire device including the sides. It even covers the curved potion of the front screen. No other screen protector seems to do that thus far. And it's only $12.99 + shipping!

I hate the general feeling of screen protectors but I'd kill myself if I got scratches on my Nexus 4 so I'm tolerating the Skinomi until I can get a hold of a good, thin, high quality, stylish case or pouch to put it in. Or a damn Google bumper if they ever release more, FFS!

Yeah I ended up doing the same thing. ordered it from Amazon with rewards points so it didn't cost me anything. Went with the clear one.

I like that it offers complete protection and is the only one that covers the entire curved glass screen and has cutouts for the light sensor unlike other protector which causes problems. Skinomi did an excellent, to notch job.

Let us know how you like it. :)

I just ordered this as well. I was thinking this WITH the bumper (if I can ever get one) would be enough protection, what do you think?

Any recommendation on skins that do not use solutions to apply but just "peel and stick"? I've only used a protector on my Droid Bionic for the last year and already it has 2 bubbles that have surfaced and couple areas of the sides are starting to peel with my silicone gel case.
Dunno, I just hate to spray all that stuff on the phone to get it to stick, but if its the best/longest lasting, then I might try it.

Thanks!
