What smartphone to get?

I am looking to buy a new smartphone. I am torn between the htc one, the samsung galaxy s3 lte, galaxy note 2 lte, iphone 5 and the sony xperia z. I am also told the samsung galaxy s4 will be out soon, how much roughly will that be. I live in the uk and I am a moderate-heavy user who wants a lag free experience, but also the best value for money. The phone also needs to be future proof and get all the needed updates, as I will be getting it on a 2 year contract. What is the best smartphone for me, and why?

The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be unveiled tomorrow morning and from what I know it's not going to be anything spectacular but maybe they have something we don't know.

Personally, I am using a Nokia Lumia 920 but I am going to but the Sony Xperia Z just because it has everything I would need. Iphone 5 is just plain boring. And the other two phones are old so there is no point in buying those. Just my two cents.

I got really soured on Samsung with my current phone. Like I understand that it might get cut off for updates at some point but the Strato was still relatively new (and still being pushed as a solid midrange phone) when it got cut off.

Best bet if you're gonna be tied to the same handset for a couple years is to go with a Nexus or iPhone I think.

If you prefer to choose a beautiful appearance', I suggest you to get the htc .Now htc one have emerged in the market.I think it is a good one.But if you have a better idea just follow it.
