What sounded far fetched to you a few years back but now seems possible?

For me it was 16GB RAM in a phone and 5nm SoC back in 2017, but now these aren't far fetched at all. Heck, we have a phone now with 12GBRAM, and 5nm silicon is coming fairly soon. Heck, apparently TSMC will start making a 3nm silicon foundry in a few years! If you wanna laugh at my thread where I thought 16GB RAM was futuristic, here's the link:

I want to see a phone the size of a matchbox that, with the press of a button, automatically unfolds a 6-7" flexible screen. Then, with a touch of that same button, it folds right back.

Wouldn't the OLED wiring wear out quickly from all the folding/unfolding?

Then they'd better work on something besides wiring, and quick!;)
