What speeds are you getting?

I am always curious about 3g speeds. So I just ran two apps, the first was Xtremelabs Speedtest which showed 1327.9 kbit/s max download 808.6 kbit/s max upload. The second was SpeedTest.net, 1327 kbit/s max download, 799 kbit/s max upload.

I got 1402 down and 929 up

Also fwiw......i can't get the speedtest.net one to work properly on my droid 2. It always locks up. I had to use the extreme labs one

I've gotten about 2600 down at home and always about 800 up using the Speedtest.net application.

Speedtest.net gets me 2330 down and 811 up, latency of 92 ms.

FCC got me 1840 down and 670 up, with a latency of 204 ms.

Only 3.1 someone else clocked faster before me. But usually I clock a bit higher. But a lot of storms in the area might be affecting the speeds.

I live in an out of the way city but Verizon has been good to us. AT&T has NO 3G service in this area, and Sprint has limited service. So, I cannot complain.

Hope I clock as good when I get an Android.

The highest 3G speed available for EVDO REV A Verizon technology is 3.1 down so the test sites are giving false readings. Even Verizons site says it averages 1500 down.

Actually, evdo rev a can get up to 3.4-3.6 down (in optimal conditions).

I'm not sure I agree with the 3.5 speeds posted here either, but I know some people with average speeds of 2.8-3.0, so they do exist.

I get 1255/663 on 3G and 3818/1327 with WiFi.
