What the hell is "sports" mode in the battery settings?!

I am wondering what the difference between "normal" and sports mode is on my CAT S41 running 7.0?

Since your phone belongs to the "rugged" category, I suppose the manufacturer expects you to take it out on treks and jogging, in which case a "Sports" mode that would manage radio activity (roaming, for example) and augment the use of the various sensors your phone has would make sense.

It's supposed to give you better GPS accuracy, for example.

I think you are on the right track, since there is ZERO difference in CPU performance scores between the two modes.

According to some articles I found on Google, it's supposed to drain the battery a bit faster, and I don't think you can activate it for, say, one hour while you're out on a jog or something.
