What to do before selling Pixel phone?

Hi all.

I know the phone is already encrypted but I'm reading it's better to delete/logout the Gmail account, but I can't find a way (or maybe it applies to other types of Android phones?).

Am I ready to factory reset and sell?

Go to Settings>Users & Accounts, select your Google account, then tap the Remove Account button. After your Google account is removed, do the factory reset. This will prevent Factory Reset Protection from triggering (which would require the next user to enter your Google account name and password to proceed).

Thanks, silly me... Was clicking on "users - signed in as..." on the top of the list instead of the gmail account below...
