What to do with an old unused G1?

So I decided I wanted a better phone and sold my G1. I hate Android so much and in fact, when windows phone 7 comes out I will be switching to that. Both Phone 7 and iphone are way cooler than android...






... Just kidding! I upgraded to a Nexus One in January! But I still have my G1. I am thinking about using it for development(I know Java and want to try and make some apps). Any other uses you guys can think of?

You can sell it on e-bay, or use it as a spare/backup phone.

I would suggest holding onto your G1, you never know when something could happen to your Nexus One and without having a back up phone you're pretty much out of luck. Also, using it as a Dev phone would be pretty interesting, if you do have basic knowledge of the Java Console and know how to use the G1 for developmental purposes then I would definitely say give it a go. If you choose not to keep your phone, and you want to get rid of it, please be aware that T-Mobile offers a mobile recycling center, you can find more information about that here.

I'm giving my old G1 to a coworker that shows off his Trak phone and says $5. a month.
