i just bought 2 Oppo F1s upgrade version last march 12. this is for my son and daughter. i am not an oppo fan. i am a samsung, lg and huawei user. my son and daughter are insisting they want oppo. inspite of giving them argument about the brand. i said maybe they just follow their classmate in school but they still insist its oppo they want. after a long demonstration at SM cyberzone about the unit. and amaze how good the brand was. we bought 2unit of f1s ugraded version, 4G/64G.
after a week of using it my son notice that his screen are a little bit red in backlight( a very small difference that you will not notice it when you are using the cellphone alone) but when you compare it with other f1s upgrade and late model f1s, from their friend* in school and cousin it is noticeable.. so i decided to return it to SM. after showing it to the sales assistant and compare it to their demo unit and open another box of new unit they notice it.. they said that it is normal and that they have two kind of screen because she also notice it when someone bought a new unit. i cannot understand this reason. i insist that this is not normal and demand a replacement. sadly it was 1 week and 2 days already and the exchange policy was only one week. then i ask for a service but she discourage me that it is a simple issue and the repair will took a month and also the unit will be open to see the problem. so i decided to keep it even though its hard to accept that i bought a P14,000. celphone that has a quality issue. i just hope oppo will give me a good reason for the unit. overall when i use the unit it was impressive, the camera is good and UI is almost the same with iphone. its just the screen that giving me a concern. im worried how long it will last.
