What we know about the HTC Ville so far ...

Dual core? I was thinking the Verizon version of this (htc edge?) Was going to be my next phone. But, was thinking it would be a quad core.
Oh well....:'(

We don't know which dual core, though. Is Krait going to be dual and quad core?

Also, I'm kinda digging the industrial design.

The new version of Sense is pretty interesting. Sure some of the effects are overdone, but they're way more coherent than anything HTC has done before. I particularly dig HTC's take on the scroll overglow, with the tiles bouncing. Clever.

If it is in fact a Krait processor then I will give this phone a serious look. 28nm LTE on-chip is exactly what I'm waiting for.

One thing I'm wondering about is, if ICS is capable of having the on-screen buttons, why is HTC still using capacitive buttons? I figured part of the appeal for future ICS phones would be a nice, clean "just a screen" look.

Because including them requires a much larger screen, which is more expensive. Large, high resolution screens are also more difficult to.manufacture.

HTC IS switching to a three button arrangement, however.

Awesome phone but would of been better with:
720p screen
Software buttons
Quad-core S4 with T-mobile 84mbps
I love Sense, but should of been resembled ICS more
That's it, and hopefully it comes out in white and with beats solo

You're talking about a variant of the Edge. This is a mid-range phone. Everything that you've identified is not necessary at this price point.

I love how people think that Quad Cor ephones will suddenly become the norm. Dual Core is still reserved for high end devices & they havent even optimized the OS yet for it yet (Until 4.0).

Also, ICS is still only on the Nexus shipping, some six months after announcement. Thats a bigger issue for me.
