We know that we can't replace the battery for HTC One X when it crashed, so many people ask me what should when face this problem. The following is my experience to solve this crash problem, do hope it can help you guys who don't know this way.

Solution:
Whether crash interface or bootloader interface, you should keep pressing upper and down volume key at the same time, and then keep pressing power button for waiting for mobile phone show blank screen, finally, restart! So after the restart, your phone is back to normal.

Holding down power button for 15 secs worked for me.

mine crashed and I was told that I need to reinstall firmware but the one from
Telstra worldwide use XL RUU. Does anybody know where I can find it and download it? I have been looking a lot and can't find it. So please if you can help it would be great

Whether crash interface or bootloader interface, you should keep pressing upper and down volume key at the same time, .

The volume key is a rocker switch.
Therefore, you can not press up and down at the same time.
If you think you did this, you are mistaken.

Its a good idea to read the ShowMe app that came with your phone. Especially the How To section, in Other Essentials, the bottom two entries, Restarting, and Resetting.

Holding Volume down and then pressing Power Down is a method to access Factory RESET, and is not recommended for simple reboots. You run the risk of totally wiping your phone by mistake.

oh, buddy, we can't always hold down the power button when phone crashed, cause it will do harm to it.

Ok. But it didn't harm mine. Had to do it when I messed up flashing a ROM. So not sure what you're talking about :/
