What we spent our $200 Google store credit on...

When we ordered our Pixel 2 xl's from the Google store, we got two home minis and 2 $100 store credits. The Google Home minis came this week and are really fun to use. We have one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I set up Spotify (currently also using apple music) for music and love that I can just tell it what to play and it does it. I'd elaborate but this is a pixel forum... Lol.

My husband ordered the vr headset which also got here yesterday but I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet.

The best thing we got though (in my opinion) were the $40 glass screen protectors. I have a clear thin tpu case that I got from Amazon that I love but the glass screen protector wasn't cutting it. The glass stopped at the very edge of the 'usable' screen and some of didn't go over the curved edge, it just threw the aesthetics of the phone off completely. Not to mention, dirt and dust got under the edge and drove me insane.

So these came yesterday and omg what a difference. I'd take a photo but you wouldn't even be able to see it. It fits perfectly and looks like there isn't even a glass screen on it. I know $40 is a lot for this but honestly, I put my phone in my purse and I know one day I'm gonna pull it out and there will be a scratch on the screen.

Just wanted to let you know if anyone was wondering if they were worth the splurge! Yes... It's definitely worth it!

Thank you for posting this, especially the information about the Google branded glass screen protectors.
When you get a chance, do post a picture, hopefully that will help people decide whether to spend the $40 and get them from Google directly.

Please post photos of the glass screen protector. Also, let us know how you feel about it after you've used it for a month or so.
