Just trying to get a baseline for the success rate. Thanks!

Edit: I should add that it would also be much appreciated if in your post you could indicate if you did a factory reset or not, and if you rooted or not (just a couple more variable, but I didn't want to have 10 options in the poll).

Thanks again!

Alls fine and dandy... now. It was kind of a nightmare getting to this point with me. I first installed and lost root (-1 for not reading the fine print), visited the Doctor (WebOS, anyone?) and tried it again. This time only to realize that since the wipe I lost all my apps and couldn't download my favorites from the market. This time I tried the nexus one market fix... which straight away bricked my phone- of the not even boot loop but just M logo variety (curse you Motorola!). By this point the windows laptop I had borrowed to do the sbf was returned and I had no way of doing a restore (I'm a Windows-free activist- 3 years sober). But this morning I got all my apps installed before doing the leak, so everything is running great!

I noticed I was just browsing the battery usage when settings crashed. Tried to get back in and it kept crashing. Minor bug I guess.

I got stuck on the moto logo so after 1/2 hour I did a SBF and never looked back.
May do it again just for the practice and go root this time..

When somethings running great that the time to "fix" it...lol

i was actually a bit hesitant applying the leaked OTA (i mustve posted atleast 5 times asking for detailed info and other stuff) but i finally got the guts to do it and went ahead and everything's good so far

btw.. is anyone experiencing issues with connecting to websites on wifi?
ive been trying to connect to other websites on wifi, but i can't.. but when i switch back to just 3G, it's fine

I had no issues. Was not rooted. Didnt do factory reset and all went Perfect. Also havent had any issues yet. Loving Froyo

Only issue I have is some apps missing from Market, everything else is perfect

I seem to be having problems with flash today for some reason. I'm seeing ads fine but when it comes to playing flash videos, it's not working.

No issues at all. The new Gallery app did take a while the first time to load my media files though. It said "Loading Media Files" for about 5 - 10 minutes. After the first time though, everything is fine.

I didn't do a factory reset and I was already rooted and still am. I did the upgrade through Koush's ROM Manager / Custom Recovery.

I was rooted, installed 2.2 did a factory wipe, kept my root, and got all my apps that I use. I did have some issues with facebook syncing at first and really slowing down my contacts page but it seems to have fixed its self now.

I deleted the bloatware on day 1 of the root so had to do the sbf. While trying to flash from Win 7 x64 it would crash after verify. Booted up knoppix and had no problems using the linux method. Rerooted, then applied the update.
That done here is what I notice so far:

The bad:
The lock screen is choppy, not as smooth as 2.1 but works.

While playing music, it will cut out when waking up the phone and again when unlocking the screen (annoying)
There seems to be a longer gap between songs.
Album art from my AAC library has disappeared.
Some albums now play tracks out of order.
MP3 albums are unaffected.
(This is a step backwards in my opinion, Music player should have been better)

Many popular flash video sites such as hulu, vimeo, break, liveleak etc do not work. Some can be made to work but not what I hoped. Hopefully the devs at these sites fix it.

Flashlight (LED) apps dont work yet and some cause the camera to become unavailable until rebooted.
Camera still wont autofocus when using macro

The Good:
It is a little faster but not what 1000HP boost all the hype leads you to believe.
Scrolling through a huge list of contacts that have photos is less choppy.
Scrolling overall is much better.
Websites seem to render faster.
New Gmail finally allows copy and paste.
Flash is nice and works as expected when websites are coded properly to allow it.
WiFi connects much quicker when enabled and seems to be more reliable.
Camera has a screen button, but control panel easily gets in the way accidentally.
Landscape Screen orientation can be either direction now.

Running 2.2 for over 24hrs now and the main things I've found so far, still much more to discover.

I used the 1 click root app and just froze the bloat with titanium. Unfroze powered off and updated. Didnt take as long as a lot of other people said it did for them, I would say 5 minutes or less. Web is smokin fast now with the stock browser, dont know about flash as I dont visit many sites that need it. I am still rooted as I finally figured out what every one was saying about putting su in xbin, that was probably the hardest thing for me to figure out.

Perfect, No issues

I posted as perfect, no issues.

I had root but I didn't remove any bloatware or install any themes

I did not factory wipe prior to installing.

@roberte1342: Strange. I'm using Droidlight and it works and doesn't impact the camera performance. I also did some browsing on hulu and didn't run across any issues. It's very strange how this leak as such varied performance phone to phone. I'm not doubting that is the case as I saw it on my Blackberry Storm but I was hoping that was a Blackberry thing more than anything else.

Working great 3 days in now. I had some minor hiccup issues at first so I went ahead and did the factory reset and cache clear and it's been running strong ever since. Was able to entertain my 2 yo with the Disney website flash content while waiting for a table at dinner friday :D

Also I did not use it a whole lot over the weekend as I was home, but did some minor web browsing, checked emails, played 6-8 hours of music and after 30 hours I was down to 40% battery

Droidlight works with no issues.

I had 2.2 rooted. ALMOST everything was perfect.

Only real problem i noticed was my apps that used the camera flash did not work. Also the gallery was pretty slow...

BUT other than that is was SMOKIN.... LOVED the new haptic feedback adjustment they made on the keyboard.

Then i Bricked it themeing the status bar haha... Sad part is it was the third time i had done it.

So after an SBF Flash and data wipe im back to 2.1 : /

Was rooted with 2.1 and then tried the update. Failed due to changing the framework some. Uses rsd and went back to 2.1 stock. Phone was still rooted and went to 2.2. Lost root then tried to go back to 2.1 but locked my phone on the droid and eye loop. Did a factory wipe and rebooted. Set my phone back up then rooted again dropped the su file from system bin to xbin and updated to 2.2. Was some work but no issues since.

So many folks blame there X for hulu not working. Not the case only way to get to work is to trick the sight into thinking your a desktop. Hulu doesn't support mobile devices do some legal issues with content.
