I have these two bright glitter/pixel looking dots on the very edge of my LG Optimus L9 screen, where the actual screen ends. Usually bad pixels can be detected in dark backgrounds, but these pixels seem to be only clearly visible in bright colored backgrounds (blue, green, yellow, white, red, purple, etc...) and change to the actual color of those backgrounds.
Here's pictures I took of it. pixelstuck 004 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
Should I be worried or need to return it? Is it normal?
If they are indeed pixels, is it considered a defective phone?
It's only at the edges of the screen and at a certain viewing angle, because it is an IPS screen. Also, just spotted a third pixel on the bottom
. All on the same side.
Update. Actually, the more I tilt the phone different ways, the more I am spotting more of them. It seems to have something to do with the IPS. They are all at the edges of the screen and on both sides too. Maybe it's normal?
Maybe it's how they manufacture the IPS and it's hard to get every pixel on the edges of the screen?
