I keep reading about people wanting more widgets and so forth on the front screen. What would you like on there that's not there now?

I don't think Sammy's intention was to make the front screen a 'little phone'. It's just to quickly preview things and open up if we decide to answer/interact with those previews.

What is not on the front screen that you'd like there?

But wait, why not make that whole side of the phone a touchscreen and bump up the battery to accommodate? Who would complain about that? Even if it cost $50-$100 more. How many people would not prefer a larger outside screen with increased functionality?

I have the fold 3 not flip 3 but im sure front full screen

Me! I like it just the way it is. Gives me all I need to glance at and put back in my pocket.
If I wanted a bunch of doo dads to sift thru on the front of my phone I might as well just use my note 10.
Or get a Razr. Lol

Its working ok for me however able to answer a message without opening it up espically without dust protection could be favorable.

I like it the way it is also. I don't need the front screen to do a lot of things either. I can open the phone for that.

Well, I’m a traitor. I traded my Flip3 for an iPhone12 Pro Max. I liked the Flip3 but the less-than-most phones battery life and lack of dust resistance didn’t fit my lifestyle. The only way for me to know that was to try it. I never used the front screen myself but if you want a simpler, yet cool phone, it doesn’t get much cooler than the Flip3.

You bought 2 flip3 no ?

I get that. I know it sounds a little crazy to get two Fold3s but I truly LOVE those phones despite their compromises.
No what i mean , return one that way have fold3 and iPhone 12pro or not what you want ?

I will keep my new iPhone 12PM and both Folds. Yeah, I have to pay a higher phone bill (all phones are financed) but that's okay.

I tried the Flip³ and found it just didn't work for me. I could have made it work but I'm happier with the iPhones and Folds³ ...for now. I felt like the only thi g the Flip³ has going for it is the fact that it does fold in half. ...so you get a smaller form-factor...something that my iPhone 12 Mini already offers. I just couldn't find a compelling reason to keep the Flip³.

Iphone Mini screen size is 5.4"
Open up Zflip3 screen size is 7.6"
So, that's not really apples to apples regarding 'form factor' between the 2 phones.

FYI, I didn't even know there was such a thing as an iPhone mini. It's so..
wittle.

Yes, when the Flip unfolds you do get that pretty 6.7” display with the already-applied-perfectly screen protector. That display didn’t make a huge mark on me because I have the Fold3s and the iPhone 12PM. The Flip will work for a lot of people and I hope Samsung keeps pushing it forward. If they can just bump that battery life up, make that outer screen bigger and more useful then it could work for me, let alone if it ever gets dust resistance. They’ve got a good product. The Flip4 will likely be even more awesome.

UI4 may give us more widgets........waiting....!

I'd honestly love edge lighting notifications on the front screen. I don't get why I can get the lighting ring when I charge my phone but not for notifications.
