What wrong with this picture

I am really frustrated trying to get any file to play on my phone it is not in the right format either snow storm on screen or bad audio video sync.

Trying to use handbrake and vlc copy, protection issues maybe I don't know, transferring via flash drive to Astro

See anything here I need to change. Thanks
