Whatever happened to this app?

Back before Android was first launched there was an app that was being tested that took live video from the phone, and overlaid custom markers using GPS. You could look towards your destination and it would have a big arrow in the distance showing you where it is on the live video, or you can make markers for buildings. It looked really neat, but never came out. It was before the g1 was released so it was being tested with a laptop.

Anyone know the story on this app?


Edit: I found it. It was called Enkin. According to their blog, the guys went to work at Google to develop the technology further.
