Recycling my wife's old phone and giving it to my son for his first phone.

I already have a spare battery and charger, so I need a case that is easily removed, while still providing protection.

I was leaning towards Otter box for the protection aspect, but not sure how easily they are removed to swap batteries of needed.

For a rugged case that easily comes off and back on, I've been using the Fosmon Shell Holster Case with Kickstand for LG G3 SKU-HOC1057.

It's a 2-piece case (soft silicon plus rigged TPC) with kickstand and belt clip. Protects the device very well (have accidentally dropped the device twice from 3-4 ft and it protected perfectly). Only caveat is with being a rugged 2-piece case it will keep heat in a bit more.

Purchased 3 of them for family members at $8.95 each on Amazon. For the price this case does an excellent job of protection. There are various colors available as well.

found it:

and ordered it

My heavy duty case is Ballistic Tough jacket, easy to remove. My light duty case is incipio dualpro.

I got both the Fosom and the Otter Box, but I don't like the smell/texture of the Fosom. Plus the Otter Box has the built in screen protector.

It actually is pretty easy to get off too, I was thinking of the Life Proof case that is hard to get off
