What's a Monday without some Sensation comparison videos?

That Sony thing has one ugly UI. Besides the benchmark, it did hang in there pretty well as far as performance goes, which in a way is not surprising since GB is not optimized for dual core processors just yet. I was surprised about the browsing performance though, expected a bit more from the Sensation. The game he plays is pretty old, no support for qhd resolution and it definitely wasn't pushing either phones gpu.

I also think that he must have not turned up the brightness on the Sensation since the Sony was much brighter.

He also doesn't know the difference between Swype and HTC Trace....
 
WOW look at how washed out the colors are on the HTC device.
Just like my EVO. I really liked the EVO untill i compared it to an EPIC and its S-AMOLED LCD.

I am pretty sure he doesn't have the brightness all the way up. Aside from that, the video is only in 360p, so not the best video camera in the world. Most reviewers say they love how crisp and detailed the display is and how good the colors look without being over saturated like a certain other screen technology....
 
Its possible. I just know i did my own comparison with with an EVO and EPIC. So i am happier with that certain other screen technology. :)

I would like to go back and hoping the new devices with Sony Super LCD or qHD screens can compare to the S-AMOLED screens.
I try to compare my devices using the same apps. In my case it was SmartBench 2010, 2011, Neocore and Quadrant.
For me watching the video running Quadrant i noticed when it was going thru the tunnels that the screen seemed faded. Black still looks Grey. Blue and Red look washed out. Again thats just me.
I would prefer the thin no keyboard and larger screen size of my EVO but ultimately i just dont like the screen. Thats what makes this so great. So many devices everybody can be happy.

I mean regardless of the brightness I think its pretty much already a given that HTC's screens suck in comparison to others. And i'm yet to see anyone actually prefer the Sensation screen over the SGS2...

I just read the review of the sensation over at the boys from boy genius report. They sang the praises, especially for the display calling it crisp, clear, and that the colors pop. I don't think any of the videos we see on here will do it justice. Only 10 more days until we get to see it on our very own evo 3d!

I'm one of them. It's just overdone for me. I prefer my EVO over the Epic screen and I'm sure I'll feel the same way about the 3D over the GS2. From what I hear its even more overdone. But to each is own I guess.
 
I actually liked the Epic over the EVO as far as screen quality. However it is difficult to compare anything with the E3D via youtube due to the qhd screen. It is like comparing the 3DS over youtube...no justice when you compare with it in your hands...even though I wouldn't buy a 3DS.

I completely agree with that statement. I am going to wait untill a device hits the stores that has qHD screen and take my EPIC in to test it side by side my self.
I was just plyaing with a Nintendo 3DS today at lunchand i like it. :)
What i really wish for is a Samsung Captivate like device for Sprint.
I never use my physical keyboard. Oh well.
